Even tho we are under construction I will tell you a little about myself, our business and how we got started.

   I grew up in a small town in southern Idaho, there, you either worked in the potato processing plants or in the potato fields. I was determined, I would never retire from a  potato processor as generations before me had done. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I just wanted to break the cycle. 

   Not sure what I wanted in life, I held many jobs and took many college courses. From bartender to hairstylist, to diamond broker, waitress to news reporter/editor and gas station cashier to business owner.

 Oh and what a business it is!

Making peoples dreams come true, to see the sparkle in thier eyes as they see the venue setting all set and ready to go, to the smile as they preview each piece for thier approval.

   Friends and family have always told me what a budget crafty person I was and loved anything I created for them for a gift. Or if they  tried hard and talked me into making things for thier own special events it was my privelege and thier joy.

   My fiancee, Brian Evans, seeing and realizing where my talents could grow encouraged me to begin this new venture in life. The very week of our own wedding, (which I designed and made with help from friends and family,) Brian came home with literally a truck load of flowers he was given! He drove off, saying he was headed back for the other three truck loads!

   So here I was, just days before our wedding, over knee deep in our living room in tons of blooms of all kinds trying to sort them out, with his help of course. Trying to figure out what I was going to do with them all.

AND SO.......

Katz Kreationz was born in a living room in our country home.

   Living on tight budgets most of my life, making due with what I had on hand or could find, I know how important a budget can be for costly special events. I know the meaning of a hard earned dollar and how important it is to make it stretch.

   That is the heart beat of Katz Kreations.

   Our goal is to make that very special day or event, picture perfect for as low cost as possible. To make it that fairytale you have always dreamed of.

   People ask, "Why not charge more?" "You need to raise the price on this. Its is just too beautiful to sell or rent for such a cheap price!"

   Our answer at Katz Kreationz is this, "You can not put a price on the most wonderful smile as a tear forms in the corner of the eye." "Making some ones fantasy or dream come true, seeing thier face for the first time as they see it all come together is a high price, money can never buy.
